ECI worked for nearly two years to complete the electrical installation of this world-class, highly interactive, state-of-the-art museum. The two-story museum structure boasts a domed roof and decorative spire on the exterior, a small auditorium/theatre, and a single level of retail space organized along a public circulation concourse. A single level parking garage is located below the new building. A freestanding pedestrian bridge spans the Amtrak Railroad R.O.W. at the north end of the site.
Our team utilized everything from mountain climbing gear to the Internet to install the highly detailed electrical, telecommunication, audio and video systems in this unique modern museum. We installed more than 7,175 lighting fixtures - including 812 multi-colored lights atop the domed roof. While much of our work is hidden within the walls, our workmanship will forever remain a part this historical endeavor, enjoyed by thousands who visit from around the globe.
